All Homes and Businesses Will Have to Meet Rigorous New Standards to Lower Energy Consumption Bills and to Protect the Environment in the UK

|| Tuesday: January 19: 2021 || ά. All homes and businesses will have to meet rigorous new energy efficiency standards to lower energy consumption and bills, helping to protect the environment, the Housing Minister Mr Chris Pincher has announced today, Tuesday, January 19. Responding to a consultation on the Future Homes Standard, the government has set out plans to, radically, improve the energy performance of new homes, with all homes to be highly energy efficient, with low carbon heating and be zero carbon ready by 2025.

These homes are expected to produce 75-80% lower carbon emissions compared to current levels. To ensure industry is ready to meet the new standards by 2025, new homes will be expected to produce 31% lower carbon emissions from 2021. Existing homes will, also, be subject to higher standards, with a significant improvement on the standard for extensions, making homes warmer and reducing bills. The requirement for replacement, repairs and parts to be more energy efficient. This includes the replacement of windows and building services, such as, heat pumps, cooling systems or fixed lighting.

Proceeding With Current Plans to Remove £20-a-Week Increase in Universal Credit Increase Would Reduce the Incomes of 06: Million Households by Around £1,000

|| Monday: January 18: 2021| ά. The Resolution Foundation has published its latest, ‘The Living Standards Outlook 2021’ today. The Report finds, proceeding with current plans to remove this increase would reduce the incomes of six million households by around £1,000 and mean the incomes of the poorest fifth of working-age households fall by over 04%. It would put the basic level of unemployment benefit at its lowest in real terms since 1990-91.

Although, the fall at median incomes is smaller than the inflation-driven fall that occurred after the financial crisis, the reduction at lower incomes is set to be significantly larger than seen a decade ago. Incomes at the 10th and 20th percentile of the distribution are projected to fall by around 10% and 05% respectively next year, leaving income at the 10th percentile no higher than it was in the early 2000s. Rising unemployment and the removal of the £20 uplift in 2021-22 will, also, lead to a further 01.2 million people falling into relative poverty, 400,000 of whom are children, the biggest year-on-year rise in poverty rates since the 1980s.

|| Monday: January 18: 2021| ά. Scientists at the Alderley Park Lighthouse Lab in Cheshire have shown the speed and scale at which the new variant of the COVID virus is spreading through communities across the country. The Lighthouse, operated by Medicines Discovery Catapult:MDC and was launched last April, plays a key role in the UK Government’s national COVID testing programme. It can process more than 50,000 samples a day and has recently completed its six millionth test. Its scientists have identified the new COVID variant in the lab’s PCR test and have been able to use this new science to track the spread of the new COVID variant across England and Wales.

The Thermo Fisher PCR test, used at many of the Lighthouse Lab sites, measures three genetic markers of SARS-CoV-2.  Lighthouse scientists have shown that the new variant exhibits ‘S-gene dropout’, whereby one of the markers, the S-gene, fails to amplify but, the other two genetic markers, ORF1ab and N, are found, confirming a positive COVID result. Working with ThermoFisher, the Wellcome Sanger Institute and PHE teams, the Lighthouse Lab network first noted data trends in November

UK Has Vaccinated Over 03.2 Million People Doubling the Numbers of Last Week: But It Would Be Fatal If This Sense of Progress Were Now to Breed Any Kind of Complacency Because the Pressures on Our NHS Are Extraordinary: Boris Johnson MP

|| Friday: January 15: 2021  || ά. The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a statement on coronavirus: COVID-19, today, Friday, January 15 at Press Conference in which he declared that to protect people against the risk of, as yet unidentified new strains of the virus, the UK had, temporarily, closed all travel corridors, implemented from 04:00 on Monday last. Following conversations with the devolved administrations, the Government will act together so that this applies across the whole of UK.

‘’On Tuesday we saw 4,134 new admissions to hospital on a single day, the highest at any point in this pandemic. There are now more than 37,000 COVID patients in hospital across the UK and, in spite of all the efforts of our doctors and nurses and our medical staff, we are now seeing cancer treatments, sadly, postponed, ambulances queuing and intensive care units spilling over into adjacent wards. And with 55,761 positive cases since yesterday and, very sadly, 1,280 deaths, this is not the time for the slightest relaxation of our national resolve and our individual efforts. So, please, stay at home, please, protect the NHS and save lives.’’ Mr Johnson said.

TUC Survey Seven in Ten Requests From Working Mothers For Furlough Were Turned Down

|| Friday: January 15: 2021 || ά. Nearly, three-quarters, 71%, of working mothers, who have applied for furlough, following the latest school closures, have had their requests turned down, according to a new TUC Survey, carried out in the past week and published yesterday, Thursday, January 14. The job retention scheme, currently allows companies to furlough parents, who can’t work due to a lack of childcare. But the TUC says that many mothers are missing out on this financial lifeline as the scheme is not promoted to parents.

The union is concerned that some employers are refusing to furlough those, who request it, leaving mothers in an impossible situation where they are forced to reduce their hours at work, take unpaid leave and annual leave to cope or leave their job altogether. Last week, TUC and campaigner Mother Pukka launched a call for evidence for working mothers to share their experiences of how they are managing their work and childcare commitments during lockdown.

|| April 06: 2018 || ά. The Humanion was first published on September 24, 2015 and has been run, since that day, on a complete voluntary basis without any 'formal' or 'constituted' manner or form and, it was run on as a Human Enterprise, which is an idea of Humanics, in which, ownership is replaced by belongingship and, thus, in a Humanical Society, no one owns anything but everyone belongs to the whole as the whole belongs to everyone lawfully and equally and, it neither believes in nor makes money but human utilities, needs, aspirations, creativity, imagination and dreams are served without money, where everyone works and creates for all others as all others create and work for all others, thus, bringing in meaning and purpose to life along with it come natural justice, equality and liberty, that establish a true civilisation within the Rule of Law. And in one word, this system of human affairs management is called, Humanics and a society that runs itself in humanics is called a humanical society. Today, we have begun the process of 'constituting' this Human Enterprise, which does not exist in the current system, but the next closest thing to it, that exists in the UK Law is Social Enterprise. Therefore, today, Friday, April 06, 2018, we are beginning Regine Humanics Foundation, that is the 'Agency', that will lead, run, manage and develop everything, that The Humanion has been trying to do.

Regine Humanics Foundation is established by the Thinker, Author, Poet, Novelist, Playwright, Editor of The Humanion, Festival Director of London Poetry Festival and a Humanicsxian: hu: maa: neek: tian: One, that believes in, lives and exists by Humanics, Mr Munayem Mayenin, of London, England, United Kingdom. Mr Mayenin says, ''Humanics is a vision; people, may, call it, utopia, we, call it our Humanicsovicsopia; Humanics. Humanics is our philosophy, our faith, our conviction, our resolution, our way of existing, thinking, being and doing: to seek and try to do so in the determination that all we must do and be is to exist to advance the human condition. People, readers and agencies and organisations, from all across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the whole of the United Kingdom and Australasia, Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, from all walks and strata of life, have supported our endeavours, supported The Humanion and The Humanion Team, who volunteered their time to run things, since the beginning of The Humanion and long before that, when other things, that are now part of The Foundation, were developing. Nothing has changed in terms of the nature and value of what we have been seeking to do.''

''But the founding of The Foundation brings it all in a solid foundation so that we can keep on building this 'vision' so that it keeps on going regardless of who come to take the vision-mission of The Foundation forward. The Foundation runs along with time and along with the flowing humanity. This is the dream, this is the vision, this the hope in founding this Foundation. And, in this, we hope and invite all our readers, supporters, well wishers and all agencies and organisations to support our endeavours to build something, a Human Enterprise, which we are in the process of registering as a Social Enterprise, as a Community Interest Company, working for the common good of the one and common humanity. No one makes or takes profit out of The Foundation, which now runs The Humanion and everything else, that is part of it. The Foundation, once registered, will have an Asset Lock, which means that in any event, should The Foundation dissolve itself, all its existing assets shall go to a similar Social Enterprise. Therefore, we invite everyone to support The Foundation, support The Humanion in whatever way they can. And, there are endless number of ways people and organisations can support The Foundation and The Humanion.'' ::: ω.
