HUMANITAS is a secular humanist organization that promotes family, community, and personal values based on the principles that as human beings we all have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.  We believe that (1) every age has to work out a set of ethical principles in keeping with its history, culture, and current events (2) we  have to seek solutions to our problems by using our intelligence, skills, knowledge and creativity to the utmost and by a profound knowledge of our history and present realities (3) We believe that ignorance, intolerance for a diversity of viewpoints, and anti-intellectualism are great stumbling blocks to the development of Africana peoples individually and collectively.  HUMANITAS provides a forum to question, debate, and critically analyze issues.

HUMANITAS seeks to (1) promote the development of the arts, music, literature, philosophy and science (2) encourages intellectual development, rationality, and scientific analysis (3) encourages community development and human solidarity (4) exposes its members to the teachings about world religions and the cultures of the many different peoples who live on this planet recognizing that this knowledge is vital for the Twenty‑first Century (5) provide opportunities for members to develop their skills and abilities to their fullest potentials and to cultivate a community in quest of genuine HUMANITAS  (6) develop strategies to strengthen family systems and foster economic cooperation.  Consequently in our teaching and leadership training we   emphasize the value of tradition, the dynamics of continuity and change, economic security, and individual and community well being. Ultimately HUMANITAS seeks to cultivate the understanding that education is a value in and of itself and there is a direct correlation between economic and social stability, mental health and spiritual striving.

HUMANITAS postulates that there needs to be an alternative that promotes African history and culture as central to the lives of Africana peoples.

Our goal is to continue to build an institution to disseminate knowledge including Africana scholarship, ideas, and philosophy which have been marginalized in Western systems of thought, and to establish ethical principles relevant to our current reality.

WHO CAN BE MEMBERS OF HUMANITAS?

HUMANITAS is a secular humanist organization

Anyone can be a member

Individuals who are seeking alternative to mainstream beliefs

Individuals seeking to join an organization that engages critical thinking and value a secular ethical outlook.

Please join us in building an institution where humanistic insights and values can be implemented into effective practice.

The Humanics Elleesium Declaration 2019 The Humanicsxian Manifesto: By Munayem Mayenin: Published on Saturday: April 06: 2019

We are in the process of getting The Humanicsxian Manifesto translated in as many languages as possible: We have begun by Spanish: Dr Natalia Carbajosa has kindly agreed to translate it in Spanish, whcih will be published as soon as the work is complete: We invite our fellow like minded humanion across Mother Earth, regardless of how 'small' or how 'large' a language they can offer, who are professional practitioners of any academic field but they have the highest degree of cognitive and academic command, expertise and proficiency in both English and the target language and, who are willing to 'donate' their 'wealth of time and mind' to this venture out of, simply, 'to seek to try: to do: to change: to make better the human condition'. If, you are able to do so, please, email to reginehumanics @reginehumanicsfoundation.com.
