As a Council member,
your main
responsibilities are
to consider
questions on
strategic direction
and topic
identification,
scrutinise and
ensure the quality
of reports and other
outputs and make
decisions on the
direction and
function of the
organisation.
Members are, also,
involved in
projects, such as,
working groups,
workshops and the
production of
publications, such
as, briefing
materials. The
application deadline

Candidates need not
be directly involved
in the field of
bio-ethics but they
should be able to
demonstrate an
interest and
appreciation of the
issues. Key
qualities include a
willingness to
contribute to
bio-ethical debate
in an open and
constructive manner.

The Migration Museum Project
is looking to reach and
engage new audiences through
our exhibitions, events,
workshops and outreach work.
We are seeking a Head of
Public Engagement to scope,
design and work with our
existing team and partners
to deliver a public
engagement strategy.
We are a growing
organisation, based since
early 2017 in a temporary
museum space in Vauxhall,
London. We have just
launched a ground-breaking
new exhibition, Room to
Breathe, which offers huge
opportunities for us to
expand our reach.
We are looking for someone
with experience in strategic
planning, developing
multi-stakeholder
partnerships with diverse
groups, and delivering
high-quality workshops and
events. You will need to be
tactful, self-sufficient and
flexible and able to work
closely with our committed
team and our many fantastic
volunteers.
This role will be primarily
based in and focused on
London, but with the aim to
influence national policy
and practice.
